STORY

Apogee Stars Stage School was founded by Stacey McCarthy and Nicola Sadler in 2010. Apogee’s primary goal is to make quality performing arts accessible to everyone. Each tutor is an expert and well experienced in their respective field and have the passion and determination to pass on their knowledge to tomorrow’s stars. Stacey and Nicola have the vision and scope to make Apogee a household name in performing arts schools.

Nicola Sadler, Dance Teacher
NICOLA SADLER
A.BATD.OB

Nicola is a enthusiastic dancer who has been dancing from the age of 3. She has performed in numerous shows through out her life including appearing at such glamorous venues as The Royal Albert Hall and The London Palladium. In recent years she has begun teaching and choreographing children and adults alike, Teaching styles range from street jazz, ballet, tap and contemporary. Dance experience includes TIE (Theatre In Education) Various pantomimes at local theaters such as The Queens Theatre Hornchurch and also appeared in a music video and UK tour of a dance music hit.

Stacey McCarthy, Singing Teacher
STACEY MCCARTHY

Stacey is an enthusiastic and professional singer and has been performing since the age of 6. She trained at the Queens Theatre New Generation Youth Theatre and performed in various professional shows. In 2003 Stacey collaborated with SkyPath in the dance hit ‘Flashdance! What A Feeling’ which reached No.4 in the UK Dance chart. Along with her SkyPath hit followed a UK tour and music video. Stacey has also had experience with session singing for Pete Watermans’ record company ‘PWL’. Recently Stacey has been touring up and down the country including appearing at such venues as ‘The Spitz Club’ with her band ‘The Catfish RBO’. Stacey now wants to pass on her professional learnings to the up and coming stars of tomorrow.
